The sake MOZU is named after the place name Sakai and the bird of Osaka Prefecture, the bush warbler.
This Junmai Ginjo sake has a perfect balance of the gentle umami flavor of Yamadanishiki rice and a refined acidity. It has a smooth mouthfeel, a clean sweetness, and a refreshing aftertaste. The single-serving size of 300ml makes it a wonderful souvenir.
The presentation box includes explanations in both Japanese and English about "How sake is made" and "The history of sake," and is designed with the bustling image of Osaka.
This is the sake served to guests at the welcome reception for the 2023 G7 Osaka-Sakai Trade Ministers' Meeting.
