It all started in 1899.

The tradition of the Rikyu Gura has been passed on for many years.

Izumi Yunosuke the first generation launched Sake brewing business in Higashinada.

12/2014

Relocated to Sakai.

2/2015

Completion of the first new sake 'Sen no Rikyu'.

4/2015

Designated as the excellent souvenir recommended by Sakai City.

2016

Relocated to current address.

2018

Designated as FURUSATO Thanks gift of Sakai city.

2/2019

Designated as OMIKI (scared Sake) for G20 Osaka Summit and offered.

9/2019

The Mozu and Furuichi Kofun Tumulus Group is registered as a World Heritage Site. To celebrate this, a premium Junmai sake goes on sale.

12/2019

Renamed Rikyugura.

5/2020

In accordance with instructions from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the National Tax Agency, the handling of ethanol for hand disinfection was started as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus.

7/2020

Donated ethanol for hand disinfection to the Sakai City Crisis Management Office, medical institutions and educational facilities.

8/2020

Released 'Myo-cha' liqueur.

10/2020

The first Rikyu Gura retail outlet opens under direct management.

3/2021

5,000 face shields were donated to the Sakai City Crisis Management Office.
