Sake based sparkling liqueur go good with Wagyu dishes
As the name suggests, this new sparkling liqueur is characterised by a taste that brings out the best in wagyu beef, and is based on sake with a hint of acidity.Pair it with wagyu beef dishes such as steak, yakiniku and hamburgers for a superb marriage.
Daidai (Japanese citrus) juice blended
Due to its role as a drink with dinner, the base sake is dry and has a robust flavor that is not overpowered by the strong taste of the wagyu beef.
It is then blended with Daidai (Japanese citrus) juice and cherry blossom flavor, and carbonation is added at the optimum ratio to create a refreshing sparkling sake.
The calligraphy for the 'Wagyu Sanka' was written by Ogino Tansetsu, known for his Japanese whiskies 'Hibiki' and 'Chita'.
Tansetsu Ogino, who wrote and painted the label for Wagyu Sanka, also expressed his wish that Wagyu Sanka would spread its wings as a sake recognised throughout the country and the world.
